About Us...
As the only bereavement center for children and their families in Rhode Island, FRIENDS WAY provides a safe haven for families to come together to continue the healing process. FRIENDS WAY is free to families and 100% of the program is funded through fundraising activities and community support.
Our Mission is to help children help each other as they grieve a death by facilitating peer support in a safe, nuturing environment... a haven for healing and hope. We envision that one day all grieving children and teens will feel supported and have opportunities for healthy healing.
